Using SOGo with Outlook

Connecting Outlook to SOGo

Once you have created a user, your SOGo instance can be accessed using Outlook. In this chapter, we are providing you with a step-by-step guide on how to connect your SOGo instance with Outlook so you can access you emails, dates and address books.

1. Finding your SOGo URL

SOGo URLs always follow the same template: https://yoururl-tld.netcup-mail.de/

Once you have set up a SOGo instance with your desired URL, you can simply access it via the web interface by going to the address found in your Customer Control Panel.

2. Open Outlook

Open Outlook. Click on the "File" tab in the top left corner, then navigate to the "Accounts Settings" item. Select the option "Manage Profiles". In the next window, select "Email Accounts", then "New".

3. Setup

Click on "Microsoft Exchange Server".

4. Entering SOGo data

Enter your data as follows:

PasswordYou can define this yourself in the customer area. You can also use this password to retrieve emails or to log in to the SOGo web interface.
DescriptionYou can assign this individually. Your calendar will be stored inside Outlook under the name given in the description.

5. Success

You have successfully connected your SOGo account with Outlook. You can now directly access your emails, dates and address books.
