Troubleshooting

How to handle E-Mail delivery issues

netcup prides ourselves on a high level of reliability. Despite our efforts, there can be occasions when mails do not get delivered properly. To troubleshoot these situations, we rely on E-Mail header information as a basis to start an investigation into the underlying root cause.

1. Getting Header

If an E-Mail sent by you is affected by an issue, please contact the recipient and request the header information from them. The header contains technical information from the involved mail servers and thus allows us to easily pinpoint the root cause of any issue.

Outlook

Thunderbird Please ask them to press CTRL + U simultaneously (CMD + U on MacOS; Super + U on Linux distributions). Alternatively, they may open the menu under the tab "More" and "View Source".

2. Sending to Support

Once you have receive the header information, please contact our support via this guide. Include the specific issue encountered, the header information, the SOGo product name and any further information you have. We will try to address your issue as quickly as possible.
