Connect your email account to external applications such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, or Apple Mail.
To use an external client with your account, you will need the connection data for your email account. Open your email addresses in the Webhosting Control Panel (WCP).
Click on Configure Mail Clients to the right of the desired email address. A window will open with the necessary data that you have to enter in your client.

Note that the following instructions may not exactly replicate the process on your device or application, as they may vary depending on the version.
Set up in Outlook
Getting Started
- Open Outlook.
- On the View tab, select View settings.
- Go to Accounts > Email accounts.
- Select Add account.
Connect
- Enter your email address and click Next.
- Enter your password and activate the slider next to Show more.
- Enter the connection data displayed in the Webhosting Control Panel and click Next.
- The setup is complete.
Set up in Thunderbird
Getting Started
- Open Thunderbird.
- Click on the menu at the top right and select New account.
- Select EMail.
- Alternatively, you can also click on Settings > Account Settings.
- Click on Account Actions > Add Mail Account.
Connect
- Enter your name, email address, and password, and then click on Configure manually.
- Enter the connection data displayed in the Webhosting Control Panel, click Re-test, and then click Done.
- The setup is complete.
Set up in Gmail (Android)
Getting Started
- Open the Settings on your Android device.
- Select the menu item Accounts and backup.
- Go to Manage accounts.
- Select Add account.
- Select Personal (IMAP).
Connect
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
- Enter your password and tap Next.
- In the Server field, enter the information listed under Incoming mail server in the Webhosting Control Panel, then tap Next.
- In the SMTP server field, enter the information listed under Outgoing mail server in the Webhosting Control Panel, then tap Next.
- Optionally, enter an account name and your name and tap Next.
- Make the desired settings for the account options and tap Next.
- The setup is complete.
Set up in Apple Mail
Getting Started
- Open the Settings on your iOS device.
- Select the menu item Apps.
- Go to Mail.
- Go to Accounts.
- Select Add Account.
- Select Other.
- Tap on Add Mail Account.
Enter data
- Enter your name. This will be displayed when you send emails to other people.
- Enter your email address and your password.
- Add a description (optional).
- Tap Next.
Connect

Select IMAP.

Enter your data for name, email and description again.

In the Host Name field under Incoming Mail Server, enter the information listed under Incoming mail server in the Webhosting Control Panel.

Enter your username (= Email address).

Enter your password.

In the Host Name field under Outgoing Mail Server, enter the information listed under Outgoing mail server in the Webhosting Control Panel.

Enter your username (= Email address).

Enter your password.

Tap Next.

Select Save.
